It’s easy to tell if your content is AI-generated
If some of these phrases look familiar to you, yes, we all know it’s AI-generated:
Empower, Unlock, Leverage, The Power of, Embrace, Unleash, Explore, Dynamic, Elevate, Master the art of, Embark on, In the realm of, Uncover, In the world of.
If I come across these words in a few of your pieces, with no real example or insights, that’s it, I start to read less of your content. Your authenticity and originality ranking have been discounted in my mind.
That slowly turned into second-guessing your content or needing to find more reliable sources before I trust what you say, if it tires me, then I become disengaged from your content.
Use AI to find your idea, sure. But don’t rely on AI to tell your idea.
Your ideas are unique and will resonate with the right people when you write them on your own because your writing indirectly incorporates your values, background, experiences, and opinions.
Using generic AI-generated pieces is a “safer choice”, but I hope the reason you write is that you want to connect with people, and making genuine connections requires vulnerability.
