AI revolution requires the right mindset.

Have we stopped thinking about creating something mainly to improve humanity and make our life BETTER?

We need to start thinking about how to use AI to make people transition to more meaningful jobs and life. Not using AI to replace human jobs and cut costs, but to elevate what we do.

When machines were introduced as substitutes for conventional hard labor by humans and livestock, humans had a couple of things in mind:
- To produce a large amount of food to feed more population
-
Overcoming limited physical abilities and energy that have to succumb to the law of nature
- More wealth to those that are already rich (Unfortunately).

It does bring more opportunities for more people to go to school. Ultimately a transition from farmers (physically intensive) to many other jobs that we now work for (third-world countries still catching up, partially due to the land/crops aren’t easy to tame in their country).

However, the way I see this AI revolution, a lot of ChatGPT related post starts with the following:
- AI is here to take over your job
- Designers’ and copywriters’ jobs are in trouble
- ChatGPT can be your best employee

Is the AI revolution going to be similar to agriculture automation in providing a better living for humanity?

Giving up physical labor to the machine is different from giving up the ability to think and create AI.

We are at the beginning of the AI revolution, and we will only benefit from it in the long term if we set our mindset right.
